- is this new software that you're trying out and you're not 100% sure that is virus free? - if this is software that you run everyday and it's a trusted program, don't run it through sandboxie. I'm not exactly sure why you're doing that. Also, yes, a good anti-virus would be good, but sandboxie and protection from an anti-virus are completely different, not sure why you're bringing that up.
also, you can set sandboxie to never delete the sandbox even when you shutdown or accidently click on delete - not sure why you're complaining about it doing what it does, it deletes everything and nothing is permanently saved to your computer, which is a BIG plus if you encounter a virus/trojan/keylogger in your program or from a bad web site - do not run legitimate programs through sandboxie, just programs that you don't trust. the best and hassle free way to use sandboxie is with your browser, that way you don't get infected.
