Hi guys,I'm still new to this game - I only bought this game today, and I've been playing some bot matches just to get the hang of the game. One thing I noticed is that when I, for example, order my commander to go build something, he will go to build it.
If I then want him to build something else after, I just click the building then click where I want it. However, instead of adding that to the 'order queue/build queue', it just stops whatever it's doing and goes and does that instead. I'm still new to this game, and I'm almost certain there's something I'm doing wrong, so I'm just wondering if you guys have any idea how to use order queues, since I've seen it done on youtube videos (i.e, they place one thing then another then another then the unit(s) build them in that order). One thing that would be handy would be an infinite build command for factories, in the good old days of TA, certain mods allowed you create 1, 10, 100, or 1000 units depends on what hotkey you held down while clicking a build command (for units in a factory) while later on SupCom introduced a 'repeat build' command, allowing you to build '1' unit over and over again, or create repeating 'platoons' of units (e.i. The factory, would create 10 infantry kbots, 5 AA kbots, 5 artillery kbots) over and over. In a game such as PA, where lets be honest 'spamming' hordes is a genuine and usefull tactic (especially if you want a 'human wave' of cheap tier 1 units to protect the advanced units, and you're not shy about loosing/sacrificing wave after wave of units to overcome the enemy and achieve victory, I know a few COH players who literally cry over a death of soldier, as tho they knew old Baz from the pub! And they also try and flog me some story about how it effects there 'stats', precious stats!) Pyrrhic victory, is the only true victory!!
