I have one question about the logitech setpoint 6.32 driver software and Windows 10.Will that old driver/software work on Windows 10 as it did on 8 and 8.1.Reason why i want to use older setpoint rather than latest one, is that 6.32 was last setpoint that supported MX-518 gaming mouse.So if there is someone who is using logitech MX-518 gaming mouse and Windows 10, could you please test this by removing any traces of that gaming software and install that setpoint 6.32 and test it. I'm on the latest version of Windows 10 Home (Build 10162) and it seems that for bluetooth mice/keyboards SetPoint 6.65 crashes after you enter then exit the application. Also, I've tried out my bluetooth T650 'Touchpad' mouse on this latest version and none of the drivers / software logitech currently has works for it.I have a G500s with the logitech gaming software installed; and these work fine.
It only seems that the bluetooth devices are the ones that suffer. I've looked around and a logitech engineer has said that these devices 'Should be supported in the next build of SetPoint that we bring out for windows 10'.Hope that helps. Although it doesn't for me, I love my T650 and I can't even use tap to click:(. Well that's sucks, off course mx 518 isn't a Bluetooth mouse so I'm hopeful that it keeps working on rtm and later builds.Problem is that I also have Logitech denivo mini keyboard/mouse combo in my old laptop that I use as my 'htpc' let just hope that old 6,32 setpoint keeps on working on it.Seriously best would be that Logitech would release drivers and setpoint's/gaming software's separately, so I could install latest setpoint's and keep my old mx-518 supported on it.Meantime if someone who had say some basic Logitech mouse, could still use gaming software if they so wanted. I finally got windows 10 64bit pro installed as I had to replace my internal wlan card from my laptop, it wouldn't simply let me continue installing windows 10 after that first reboot.It was a complete incompatibility between Samsung's Phoenix bios and broadcomm wlan/Bluetooth card, so as I received my new intel 7260ac wlan/Bluetooth card yesterday I managed finally install windows 10 on actual hardware.And. THAT OLD SETPOINT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!
Logitech 64 Bit Drivers
It sees my trusty old mx-518 just as it did on windows vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and now on windows 10.It is that setpoint 6.32 (last setpoint that supported mx-518) and all seems to work and feel just as it did before, even those windowed modern'metro' apps maximize/restores when I press that button on my mouse.
